Practice areas
Every listing is filed under the areas of law the firm’s own public pages state for that practitioner.
A practice area page lists the practitioners filed under it, alphabetically. It is not a ranking and it is not a recommendation: nobody on this site is ordered above anyone else.
An area with no listings yet shows an empty state rather than a filled one. This directory is new, and a page that invented entries to look established would be worthless the moment you tried to ring one of them.

How an area is decided
Areas come from the firm’s own public pages for that practitioner. Where a page describes work that it does not state as a practice area, it is recorded as free text rather than filed as one.
Areas are not self-service. A change to a published listing is read against the source page before it takes effect.
What an area page does not tell you
That someone is currently entitled to practise. Entitlement changes, and this directory records what a public page said on a date, not what is true today.
- Check the public register kept by the Law Society of New South Wales before you engage anyone.
- A listing is not a referral, an endorsement or a measure of competence.
- Where a listing is paid for it carries a Sponsored label, and that label never changes where the listing appears in a result.
